#2 - Am I right to assume that the "blogs" section will be used to post the bulletins from the hall?

if so a neat feature would to have one of those "status" bars in the menu area that say when the last one was posted or to make that button flash if the "account user" hasn't doesnt have a cookie newer than the most recent post.
